INSURED’S: If your insurance company is paying for the repairs you may have an endorsement for Loss of Use on your policy. Your insurance policy will spell out the amount of rental coverage exactly or pay Enterprise for your rental. Ask your insurance claims representative for details.
CLAIMANTS: If the other party is paying for the repairs they will provide you with a rental car or if you are not taking a rental they will reimburse you for reasonable transportation while your vehicle is in the repair facility. This should include the daily rate, daily license fee, plus tax.
One challenge for many car accident injury victims is getting a rental car from the insurance company. Waiting for repairs or a check for your totaled car can take time.
